...so about the stories for the grandkids, just a loose philosophy
for much of my earlier artwork, we'll see how it features in the future. for so many years i've kept sketchbook/journals
to record the places i had been and the events that had taken place, many of the earlier works were random sketches that were
worked up and became developed illustrations. each image has a story connected to it and many of the stories took place
during what were interesting times for me (specifically my mid-20's). i view these early illustrations as memories,
there are no pretentions attatched to the artwork, no hidden meaning; if nothing else they are a record of my life, ultimately
a source of stories for the grandkids when my mind goes later in life! kinda makes sense...
