This is where Mari & Aaron live in Tucson, Arizona. We are at the base of the Catalina Mountains in the Foothills where Swan Road ends. Central Tucson can be seen a few miles down the mountain (that's South) and 40 miles beyond that is Mexico. Downtown Tucson can just be seen to the left of the No Parking sign with the Tucson Mountains to the right. Click on the image for a much larger view of Tucson, AZ.

This is a view of the Catalina Mountains from our neighborhood in the Foothills. Tucson actually got some snow that day and I maaaaay have stayed home from work to take some pictures of the rare event (I was here in Tucson the last time it really snowed, Easter Sunday, 1999).
